1976:
- On July 23, the An Giang Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 73/QD-76, signed by Mr.Tran Tan Thoi – (the contemporary) An Giang president, established An Giang foreign trade company – Angimex.
-  Angimex commenced its operation in September 1976

1979:
- The company changed its name to An Giang Import Export Union Co., located at Long Xuyen town, An Giang province.

1982:
- Established Ho Chi Minh City delivery station(now, it’s Ho Chi Minh City branch).
1988:
- Renamed to Union of An Giang Import Export Co.,.
- Ministry of Economy and Foreign Affairs allowed Angimex to export directly
1991:
- Established Angimex – KITOKU Joint Venture Company

1992:
- The company changed its name into An Giang Import Export Company.
1998:
- Established the first authorized dealer of Honda Vietnam.
2000:
- Established the second authorized dealer of Honda Vietnam.
2004:
- Established the Centre for Development of Information Technology NIIT – Angimex.
2005:
- Opened the telephone agent S-Fone – Angimex.
2006:
- Established the third authorized dealer of Honda Vietnam.
2007:
- Angimex contributed capital to SAGICO for retail business through supermarket system
2008:
- Angimex officially transformed into Joint Stock Company.
- Established premium rice factory. Chau Phu jasmine rice Chau Phu Jasmine rice appeared in the market through the cooperation between Saigon Co.op and Angimex.

-          Opened Repair and Maintenance Service Center – Wing service, authorized by Honda

-          Suspended the phone business

2009:
- Introduce An Gia, Muc Dong Rice Brand to the domestic market.

- Angimex introduced two support tools for farmers: caculating software on effect of rice production and SMS service for raw material rice prices.

- Transfered Development Center of Information Technology NIIT to new partner.
2010:
- Opened Angimex Honda Service that enables exchanging old motocycles for new ones
- Angimex was the sole distributor of Dasvila fertilizer product in An Giang market.
