The New Year is coming, let’s review Angimex’s significant events in 2011.

January
- “Angimex Fund for Rural development” in 2010 & 2011 donated 365 computers to Secondary schools in rural areas of An Giang Province.

- On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2011, Angimex organized Sport Events for staffs. A program named “Xuân thắm thân tình” was also organized to donated gifts to the poor.

March
- Angimex Trade – Service Store were opened in Thoai Son District of An Giang Province. At the same time, three HEAD directly under Angimex Honda Center were aslo increased ranking in HEAD Range by Vietnam Honda annual evaluation report.

April
- Angimex has signed a contract with Saigon Co.op as a strategic supplier

- At the 4th annual Shareholders General Meeting, an election was conducted for the position for members of the Management board and Supervisory Board for 2011 – 2015 tenure.

May
- Angimex was endorsed as a prestigious exporter by Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2010.

June
- Angimex was the first enterprise in Vietnam that was approved to export rice under Government Decree 109.

July
- Angimex started to construct the Angimex Binh Thanh Rice Processing Complex at Thoai Son District in An Giang.

August
- The third contest for “Safety Driving with Angimex” was taken place in Chau Doc Town in An Giang Province after the first and the second were held successfully at 03 HEAD of Angimex (in Jan 2011) and An Giang University (in May 2011) respectively.

October
- Vietnam Report Company announced Angimex ranked 146th out of 1.000 largest corporate income tax payers in Vietnam (up 34 places from 2010).
- Angimex was recognized and awarded excellent business Enterprise in 2009 – 2010 by People’s Committee of An Giang province

November
- Angimex joined the second Vietnam Rice Festival which was  held in Soc Trang Province and was awarded Gold Cup of Vietnam Rice industry Prestige Export Enterprise by the Festival Organization Board in 2011.

- Angimex continued being on the 2011 Top list of 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam ranked by Vietnam Report.

December
- Angimex fund for rural development will use amount of 1.5 billion VND in the year 2011-2012 to sponsore computers for Secondary rural schools; donate scholarships to poor students and build houses for farmers who have housing difficulties.

- Angimex celebrated its 35 years anniversary (1976-2011) and opened a new headquarter.

- Shareholders of Angimex have agreed to add rice seeds processing and agricultural chemicals  trading into the company’s business lines.

- Angimex continues being on the top 10 largest rice exporters in Vietnam.
